2009 deemed company's most successful year ever

Murad, Inc. announced today that 2009 was the most successful year in company history in terms of growth, profits and sales.

According to the skin care brand, business highlights in 2009 included: reaching the best overall year in company history, with a 3% growth over 2008; closing 2009 with the single biggest month in Murad’s history; achieving continued expansion of international reach, with new distributors in Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Holland, Poland, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iran; and posting double digit growth over 2008 in direct-to-consumer sales.

The doctor-based company says it also maintained its No. 1 clinical skin care ranking at Sephora, Sephora inside JCPenney and Ulta while achieving a triple digit boost at Sephora Canada.

Nine new products were launched during the year.
